Accessibility statement
The Federal Public Service of Justice is committed to making its information and services accessible, in accordance with the law of 19 July 2018 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public organisations that transposes the European Directive 2016/2102.
This accessibility statement is applicable to www.justonweb.be.
Compliance status
The website partially complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 level AA because the requirements below are not met.

The content below is non-accessible for the following reason:
Non-compliance with the governance decree
- PDFs are not correctly tagged and therefore difficult to read with a screen reader
- Some images do not have a correct alternative description.
- Video does not provide subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
- Video does not provide audio description.
- Headings, lists, tables and other structural elements are not correctly marked everywhere in the source code.
- The website is not usable in landscape view on mobile devices.
- Form fields that request personal information do not have autocomplete attributes, so software such as browsers and password managers may not recognise and complete them correctly.
- Links and input fields with an error can only be distinguished by colour.
- Some text scores an unsatisfactory on contrast.
- There is loss of content and the website scrolls horizontally when enlarged up to 400%.
- Some non-textual elements such as the focus indicator, input fields or icons score an unsatisfactory on contrast.
- The tool tips disappear when you move the mouse over the content and there is no way to close them without moving the mouse or keyboard focus.
- Some interactive content such as links, buttons, tool tips or drop-down lists cannot be accessed using the keyboard.
- Sessions end without warning after which you have to log in again.
- There is no skip link to skip blocks of repetitive content such as skipping navigation with the keyboard.
- Pages do not always have a title that describes the subject or purpose of the page.
- For page changes, the focus does not move correctly when navigating with the keyboard or a screen reader.
- There is only one way to find a page, there is no sitemap or search function.
- There is no visual focus indicator on some interactive elements when navigating with the keyboard.
- The language of the pages is set to English regardless of the language choice.
- The visual label of elements does not always match the label in the code.
- Foreign-language content is not indicated via a lang attribute.
- In form validation, errors are not textually communicated everywhere.
- Some fields have no label but just a placeholder attribute that disappears on focus.
- Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*), but the meaning of the asterisk is not given.
- Error messages do not always include a suggestion for correcting the error.
- The website contains HTML accessibility validation errors.
- Some elements have an incorrect or missing name, role or state that is read out by screen readers.
- Status messages are not highlighted in the code and are not announced by screen readers.
